Especially on busy roads and places with a generally high fluctuation, digital signage is particularly expedient due to the increased awareness and reach. For this reason, Comedia Concept GmbH installed four partially double-sided LED video walls in the Saxon towns Meerane, Reichenbach and Zwickau. Previously, advertising in these towns was primarily by means of classic print advertising. Comedia Concept is using the digital-signage software solution kompas from dimedis to control the content. The combination of central locations on major roads and the use of attractive content results in a communication solution that achieves maximum reach by the fastest means available. The duration of the content shown is selected to achieve the best possible awareness on the part of drivers of passing vehicles and pedestrians.
The LED video walls display, in particular, city information such as advertisements for cultural events, the weather, and information for citizens as well as tips on what to do during leisure time. In addition, the new digital signage installations strengthen the business location Saxony and especially local companies. The advertising surfaces are particularly attractive for local advertising customers and are rented out to them. The installation of two additional video walls is planned in 2019. With these installations, Comedia Concept is making use of an interesting and attractive city marketing tool.
